Home Visits

We do encourage our patients to come to the surgery where we have the proper equipment and facilities available; however we do appreciate for those who are house bound this is not always possible.

If you feel you do need a home visit you need to call the surgery before 12 midday.  Our GPs will visit patients at home after their morning surgery which finishes at 12.

Doctor's bag

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with on the telephone, or that it would be more appropriate to arrange a visit from a community nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

Home visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Surgery.
