Please allow 48 hours excluding weekends and Bank Holidays for your repeat prescription request to be processed.

If your repeat prescription request is 'urgent', you will need to attend the surgery in person and fill out an 'urgent' prescription form. This will be passed to the Duty Doctor who will assess  if the request warrants urgent attention or can be dealt with as routine within 48 hours. You will only be contacted if the Duty Doctor agrees that the medication is urgent and required the same day.

Hospital prescriptions will only be issued at the Doctors discretion, some medications can only be issued by the hospital pharmacy. Hospital prescriptions can take 5 working days to process

If you need a new medication that has been issued to you by the hospital, please check that the surgery has received a letter from the hospital with the medication details before requesting it as a 'repeat' prescription
